Taylor Wobig

When did you graduate? Winter Term (March 2015)
Major: Interior Design
Minor: Business & Entrepreneurship
Where are you living now? Beaverton, OR (maybe Portland soon)
Are you working/interning? Full-time employee
For what company? Green Curve Studio, Inc.
What is your job title? Interior Designer
What do you do? I specialize in designing dental and orthodontic offices all over the nation. I get to travel a lot and live a semi-extravagant life because of our clients and the connections we make.
Do you have any tips for future graduates? Network and keep talking to those connections! I got an interview by keeping in touch with Jennifer Haycox. She is an OSU alumna and came to one of our classes to speak. She is a rep for Koroseal and I had kept in touch with her for help on school projects. She got to know me and knew that my passion was in healthcare design; she set me up with Jacek (my boss) and the rest is history.
Would you be willing to tell us if you know of any openings in the company? Of course :)
If so, what is your contact information? It’s best to use my email: taylor.wobig@gmail.com

What are you up to now? This summer I interned at Big-Giant which led to a position as a Junior Designer working directly under the Senior Designer. My internship consisted of on-boarding and learning the company filing system and project protocol and eventually assisted on several client-facing projects.

What advice do you have for future graduates? My biggest piece of advice would be to network as much as you can, and never stop pushing your connections because you never know what will lead to a position or opening. Put yourself out there and speak up for what you want.
